SLFS Expresses Condolences As Elderly Patient Pronounced Dead After Ambulance Crash

The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) has extended condolences to the family and friends of a 79-year-old patient pronounced dead after an ambulance transporting him to the OKEU Hospital crashed into a house in Dennery.

Communications Officer Stacy Joseph also said the SLFS empathises with the family whose home the ambulance impacted.

“The Saint Lucia Fire Service is committed to the highest level of safety in all of its operations,” Joseph said.

She also stated that the SLFS and remains resolute in rendering emergency medical service at industry standard in quality and timeliness to all communities in Saint Lucia from its various Fire Stations.
