Attempted Murder Suspect Held, Firearm Seized In Gros Islet

On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) conducted a joint operation leading to the recovery of an illegal weapon in Monchy, Gros-Islet and the arrest of an adult male for Attempted Murder in Corinth, Gros-Islet.

Law enforcement officers have been persisting in their endeavours to combat grave criminal activities by executing numerous Warrants to Search for Property across different communities.

These operations resulted in the discovery and seizure of an unlawful firearm in Monchy, Gros-Islet.

As a result, four adults (three males and one female) were apprehended for Possession of Firearm.

In Corinth, Gros-Islet, police personnel arrested an adult male linked to an ongoing investigation into an Attempted Murder.

The individuals under arrest are presently in police custody, and it is anticipated that they will be formally charged for the offences.

  1. Don’t forget bail. Send them back out there to regroup and then charge them. St. Lucia is the only place in the world that do not show faces of criminals. I could be walking right next to one and become the next target. What a shame!
