Canadian Charged With Aiding Suicide To Return To Court In June

A Canadian national whom Saint Lucia police charged with aiding and abetting his wife’s suicide is due to return to court on June 11.

Christopher Lewis Forman was remanded in custody at the Bordelais Correctional Facility (BCF) after his first court appearance on May 9.

Since then, he has undergone medical treatment at the OKEU Hospital for an unspecified complaint and returned to the BCF on Wednesday.

Forman was vacationing with his ailing wife when on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at about 10:00 am, police responded to a report of a suspected suicide at Trouya, Gros Islet.

The police said that on arrival, they discovered the body of 53-year-old Nicole Forman, a self-employed sales representative.

A toxicology report is pending following a post-mortem examination on April 25.

Police charged Forman, an unemployed bartender, on May 8 with aiding and abetting the suicide.

The Canadian national faces the possibility of 20 years in prison if convicted.

  3. Don’t allow this mentality to take hold in st Lucia or any black nation. They do this in Europe and Canada and are trying to normalise the barbarity. They encourage people to take their lives and have found a way to comiitt unaliving of anyone freely. They call it euthanasia, we call it murder! When they come with their groups and little money to influence govt just like they have done with the bulling ting, please tell them no. This pale race always try to stretch the boundaries of morality. assisted suicide is a threat to health and mortality in this country. Bulling is a health threat to your population too . STD rates shooting up. Physical and moral destruction Drug use and COPD gone up. Our society is in a mess in 100 ways. Tell that Canadian to keep his assisted suicide in Canada. And give him a good jail time to show them that the erosion of the moral fabric can’t go on without consequences.
