‘Dollar’ Remanded For Double Homicide, Attempted Murders

On Thursday, 22 February 2024, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force commenced investigations into a shooting that resulted in the deaths of Edley Augustin of Martin Luther King Street, Vieux Fort, and Quinzy Mathurin of Cedar Heights, Vieux Fort.
Four other individuals were injured in the shooting but survived. This incident took place on George Shine Drive, Vieux Fort.
On Tuesday, 21 May 2024, thirty-eight-year-old (38) Jessie St. Cyr, also known as “Dollar,” from Bruceville, Vieux Fort, was arrested and subsequently charged by the Major Crimes Unit for causing the deaths of Edley Augustin and Quinzy Mathurin.
He was also charged with the attempted murders of the surviving victims.
He was presented before the Magistrate’s Court for bail purposes, where he was remanded into custody, for further case management.

  1. This is how serious we are about crime fighting– a serial murderer was apprehended, caught, tried and remanded BUT the system will keep his image a secret to society. Mate face should be plastered everywhere– let his family, friends and acquaintances be ashamed to have even known him! What’s the hold up? We need to fight crime outside the traditional way!

  2. Yall know all who doing crime but refuse to get them but going to penalize the guys from shanty town for everything and protect the real killers by sending them abroad look how the same guy with the gun in the video with the little girl reach England already
