On Monday September 30, 2024, a new entertainment entity was launched in Saint Lucia and unveiled its first event, expected to become one of the annual features.
The unit is called UBX Events and during Monday’s press launch at Prudy’s Escape at the Pigeon Island Causeway, it was emphasized that the focus will be on offering refreshing, engaging and innovative entertainment experiences to Saint Lucians and visitors alike.
UBX Events in a statement said it specializes in creating vibrant, high-energy, beach-themed parties that capture the spirit of Saint Lucia.
As such, UBX said that it is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated Ultra Beach Experience (UBX), set to take place on Saturday, November 30th, 2024.
This event will occur at the breathtaking Pigeon Island Causeway from 5:00 PM and promises an electrifying evening of music, dance, and celebration under the stars.
The Ultra Beach Experience, organisers explained, will transform the Causeway into the ultimate party destination, featuring an impressive lineup of top DJs, including Prostyle, Money Ron, DJ Shane, DJ Flame Kid, Selector Young, MTJ, and DJ Martic.
A number of artistes are also scheduled to perform including Imran Nerdy, Ezra, the 2024 Groovy Monarch Sly, and a special guest DJ from Martinique.
UBX Events stated that it is committed to delivering a high-energy, immersive experience that will leave partygoers buzzing long after the event ends and that attendees can expect an unforgettable night.
The event will also feature specialised food and drinks bars as well as the introduction of Dream Smoothies cocktails, adding a unique flavor to the night.
Ahead of November 30th UBX Events will stage a number of bar pop-up campaigns across Saint Lucia, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

Just one question. What in the world are specialized food and drinks?
Last week the Ministry of Health issued an advisory saying that alcohol consumption was increasing in Saint Lucia and that its use was highly detrimental to the population, the report also mentioned that younger people were increasingly consuming alcohol. The ‘specialized food’ there may contribute to more consumption of ‘specialised drinks’, whatever that may be!
