Babonneau Police to the rescue

Officers from the Babonneau Police station have banded together to bring relief to a family of four who live in the community.

Moved by the plight of the family’s dilapidated home  at Garrand when they went there to investigate the tragic death of a seventeen year old member, the Officers decided to renovate the building.

They contacted several corporate sponsors who are supporting the venture, and decided that they would provide the manpower.

The renovations on the  home, which is occupied by a mother and her three children aged 19, 15 and 10, are expected to be completed by the end of this month.

The project is part of the Community Policing initiative of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, (RSLPF).
