The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, Port Services and Transport Hon. Philip J. Pierre will deliver the Closing Keynote Presentation at an International two-day Public Sector leadership Conference, hosted under the theme “Overcoming the Implementation Deficit: From Planning to Performance”.
The Cave Hill School of Business/the University of the West Indies in collaboration with the Commonwealth Association for Public Administration and Management, the Caribbean Leadership Project and the Management Institute for National Development are hosting an international public sector leadership conference on September 21st to 22nd 2015 in Barbados.
This conference is designed to equip professionals from every level of the public sector, with highly practical tools and techniques that can help them build the skills and attitudes to improve their effectiveness in implementing activities as planned. The two-day event will bring together members of the public service from across the commonwealth. Presenters will be drawn, Malaysia, Canada and across the Caribbean and will be sharing success stories as well as cutting information that can better help us understand the issue and how to best address it.
Hon. Philip J. Pierre will deliver the closing keynote address under the theme: “bridging the gap between the public service and the people that they serve”. He is expected to leave the island on Monday 21st September and return on Wednesday 23rd September 2015.
