O’Brien Antoine survived an attack by bandits last year, after being stabbed and robbed.
Antoine spent some time in hospital, but recovered.
This year, history repeated itself with a deadly twist – the forty year old Plumber did not survive a second attack by criminals.
Sources close to Antoine’s family told the Times that he was attacked by masked bandits on Monday morning of this week.
The bandits, according to reports, attacked Antoine, robbed him of about sixty dollars and poured a corrosive liquid, believed to be the weedicide – gramoxzone, down his throat.
The victim, who lives at Black Stars, Morne du Don, was hospitalized on Monday after the incident, and passed away hours later on the following day.
Persons who knew Antoine described him as a pleasant individual and told the Times that the persons who attacked him are nothing more than Monsters.
Police are investigating the incident.
