Thirty year old Dane Biscette who was charged with attempted murder in the brutal stabbing of a young woman who was reportedly left for dead near the Vigie cemetery last week, made his first appearance in court today and was granted bail in the sum of five thousand dollars.
Biscette, who is being represented by Attorney at Law, Alberton Richelieu, is down to reappear in court on November 16, 2015.
On Friday, October 16, 2015 about 7:30 p.m. Police responded to a report of a stabbing near the Cemetery in Vigie, Castries, and discovered twenty four year old Mc Lana Bernard being attended to by Emergency Medical Technologists (EMT) of the Saint Lucia Fire Service.
Bernard had been stabbed multiple times.
She was transported to the Victoria Hospital where she is listed as being in critical but stable condition.
Her relatives told the Times that she had been stabbed some twenty times.
