MP for Micoud North, Doctor Gale Rigobert, has dubbed last Friday’s Job Fair in the community a success.
Scores of participants, including private and public sector employers, braved the inclement weather to take part in the event.
The participating agencies, which included the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force ,RSLPF, MAMPA, G4 Security, the Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority, SLASPA, the Water and Sewerage Company Inc., WASCO and the Saint Lucia Electricity Services Limited, LUCELEC, all made presentations to job seekers and other interested persons.
Micoud North MP, Doctor Gale Rigobert, who organized the job fair, told the Times that she was satisfied with the presentations and the level of participation by those in attendance.
“It has inspired me to continue this initiative,” Rigobert asserted.
She disclosed that because of the inclement weather, the job fair had to be moved from the Churchyard into the old Micoud Infant school.
