French Embassy to Pay Tribute to Paris Attack Victims

The atrocious attacks carried out in Paris on November 13th, which resulted in the death of at least 130 people and many more wounded, some of whom remain in a very serious condition, have left the world shocked and outraged.

The French Embassy to the OECS member states and Barbados, wishes to extend its profound gratitude to the St Lucian authorities, the Diplomatic corps, and all members of the civil society who have already manifested their sympathy towards our country.

In partnership with Alliance Française, this Embassy wishes to pay a solemn tribute to all the victims and their families, while showing our determination never to give in to the violence of terrorism.

For this purpose, a gathering meant to last an hour maximum will be held at the Alliance Française of Castries on Friday 20th November 2015, at the convenient time of 6.30pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

A book of condolence, which was opened on Monday, will be made available to those who wish to sign it.
