Telecommunications company, LIME, today supported Feed the Poor Ministries in organizing a grand luncheon for some two hundred needy persons from throughout the City.
Dubbed the “LIME Kindness Day”, the event at the Derek Walcott Square served a three course meal to each person in attendance, as well as entertainment.
LIME staff also danced with the invitees.
“It is part of our corporate social responsibility, and just one of the initiatives that we have throughout the year. But as we know Christmas is a time of giving and sharing and of course we do a lot more of that during the season,” LIME Commercial Lead, Cheryl Francis told the Times.
She disclosed that her company has partnered with other agencies in similar initiatives that will being Christmas cheer to senior citizens, underprivileged children and others under the LIME theme – Unwrap Christmas.
“We will be unwrapping Christmas all over the community,” Francis told the Times.
