Two persons were injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in the past twenty-four hours.
Last night at about 8:15 PM on the Vide Bouteille Highway, a collision between a Guardsman pick up truck, registration number TG 9315, driven by Nerry Mc Lauren, and a flat bed truck, T 3243 driven by Timothy Clement, resulted in injury to a female passenger in the Guardsman vehicle, according to reports.
The female has been identified as twenty-four year old Venessa George, who is suspected to have sustained a broken leg.
Both vehicles, the Guardsman pick up and the Transport and Handling Limited truck, are reported to have been heading in the same direction towards Castries when the collision occurred.
The female passenger was taken to hospital via ambulance.
It is also reported that at about 2:AM this morning there was a motor vehicle accident on Jeremie Street in which twenty-nine year old Miguel Alexander of Entrepot sustained injury to his leg.
In addition, a man identified as Brad Joseph of Carilee, is reported to have been stabbed with a pair of scissors yesterday morning at about 11:15 AM.
He sustained a wound to the left shoulder.
