Two individuals are reported to have been hit by an out of control vehicle this morning by the Castries Market on Jeremie Street.
According to reports, the accident occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. today, November 30.
Two eyewitnesses told the Times that the driver of one Nissan Tiida (PC2681) seemed to have a fit while driving. The vehicle thereafter went out of control, veering towards the sidewalk and then hit two pedestrians.
The two pedestrians, an unidentified male and female, were thereafter taken to the hospital via ambulance.
The male driver of the vehicle appeared injured and was seen still in the vehicle wearing a neck brace.
