After nine (9) months of industrial negotiations, the Management of G4S Secure Solutions Ltd and officials from the National Workers Union (NWU) have satisfactorily completed industrial negotiations.
Over one hundred (100) security guards employed with the security firm will benefit from the new industrial accord.
The parties agreed to the implementation of a new upward wage structure, a forty (40) hour work week, Overtime at time and one half, Sick, Paternity, and Urgent Affairs Leave as well as Meal, Call Out and Call Back Allowances.
This new industrial package will be effective from January 1, 2016 and will be for a three (3) year period.
The Company and the Union will meet shortly to sign their first agreement.
