Police treat students attending schools in Education District One

Over one hundred gifts were handed out to students of Education District One, when the Gros Islet, Rodney Bay and Babonneau Police stations hosted a special treat for them last week.

The Schools in attendance were the Gros Islet, Dame Pearlette Louisy, Grand Riviere, Monchy, Balata, Des Baras, La Guerre, Boguis, Fond Assau and Babonneau Primary schools, as well as the Transit Home for children.

The activity took place at the Players’ Pavillion of the Beausejour Cricket Stadium on December 4, 2015.

Among those in attendance was MP for Gros Islet, Emma Hippolyte.

Country Manager for RBTT Bank, Miss Sandra Fontenelle and Bay Walk Branch Manager, Edna Henry were also present, alone with other sponsors of the event.

The organizers of the treat said the intention was to allow the three participating Police stations to collaborate on a community policing agenda, while at the same time bringing a smile to the faces of the children of the various schools represented.
