The victims of a recent fire at Monkey Hill, Dennery, remain upbeat despite adversity in the loss of their home on Friday of last week.
Noelissa Biscette and her three children, aged 10, 8 and five, are currently housed at her Mother’s home in the same village.
Biscette told the Times that she is in the process of raising funds to rebuild her house which went up in flames.
In the meantime, the hotel employee has said that keeping busy helps her to take her mind off her loss.
The fire occurred at about 8:00 PM when there was no one at home and quickly consumed the plywood structure measuring 16 feet by 20 feet, according to a report from the Saint Lucia Fire Service.
The incident is still under investigation but Biscette told the Times that she suspects arson.
