Professional development session for CCSS staff

It is often expressed by many that that Functional Staff within the Public Sector are unprofessional, lack work ethics and are not knowledgeable about their Codes of Conduct and other statutes which dictate expectations about their conduct and employment.

Recognizing that some of these deficits exist among this group which have led to inefficiencies and are likely to impede  worker efficiency, the Administration  of the Castries Comprehensive Secondary School (CCSS), organised a one-day Retreat for  the institution’s Ancillary Staff Members at the Auberge Seraphine.

The topics presented were: Adherence to Staff and Organisational Rules, Health and Safety and Work and Professionalism and Work Ethics.

Presenters were: Mrs Viola James of the Ministry of Education; Mr Hubert James of the Civil Service Association and  Mrs Marlene Anthony of Ministry of Legal Affairs.
