2 hospitalized after car and motorcycle collide

The driver of a motor car and a motorcyclist were hospitalized last night, after the car and the motorcycle collided.

The incident happened after 10 PM last night near MJI Hotel at Rodney Bay, according to reports.

Ambulances from Castries and Gros Islet responded.

It is reported that the motorcyclist, identified as Orlando Edwin, was complaining of pains to his pelvic area.

However eyewitnesses on the scene told the Times that his injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

The motorcycle was reported to be heading South and the motor car was travelling North when the collision occurred.

At roughly the same time a young man, described as being in his twenties, sustained minor injuries when his vehicle overturned at Savannes Bay, Vieux Fort.


According to reports, the grey Nissan Almera was heading South towards Vieux Fort.

The driver, said to have been the sole occupant of the vehicle, lost control of the car.
