Relatives of stabbing victim Joseph Herman, who succumbed to his injuries on New Year’s Day at Victoria Hospital, have told the Times that the Capitol Hill resident sustained six stab wounds – four of them major.
They say that’s according to the information they received from a post mortem examination that was conducted today on the body.
The relatives told the Times that they were also informed that blood clots had formed in Herman’s head.
They revealed that they were told that Herman died as a result of the four major stab wounds he sustained when he was attacked by a number of assailants, including a woman, on Jeremie Street.
The relatives said that the official, written cause of death will be presented to the family tomorrow.
Herman is the first homicide victim for 2016.
