The Construction of two (2) three (3) new classroom blocks to provide new accommodation for the Choiseul Secondary School has moved one step closer as the Invitation for Bids notice has been advertised. This comes as very good news for the teachers, students, and parents of students attending the Choiseul Secondary School.
The need for this project arose when following the 2007 Earthquake, Hurricane Tomas and other natural events of the past few years, damage to blocks B and C at that institution caused those buildings to become structurally unsound.
The two (2) new three (3) story buildings will accommodate 12 classrooms, Sickbay with toilet facilities, resource room, Technical Drawing Room, students ‘ washrooms, Information Technology Lab, Electronic Document Preparation and Management Laboratory, Physics and Chemistry laboratories with prep room, music room and theatre room. The total construction area is approximately 34,330.95 sq. ft.
