Man Injured in Vehicle Accident at Union

Reports made to the Times relate the events of a vehicle accident at around 9:40 p.m. last night on the Union main road near the gap to the zoo. One car ended up in the river.

According to reports, the man driving the car was coming around the corner and thereafter encountered an oncoming vehicle which hit him causing him to spin off the main road.

The driver relates that the oncoming vehicle saw him coming and did not stop, and although he tried to escape, they still hit each other. After being hit and spinning off the road, he also hit a parked trailer before crashing into the river. He also said, the other driver fled the scene of the accident afterwards.

According to reports, the driver who remained on the scene narrowly escaped drowning because the car crashed into the river upside down. He managed to get out of the sinking car and climb up the river bank.

He was thereafter taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Mate had God’s angels over him. He was going to drown if the seat belt did not release. Afterwards he was just cursing the other driver who fled the scene and was worried about his new car he just bought. God protects ALL of us.
