The Saint Lucia Labour Party holds its Closed Session of its Conference of Delegates at the Marigot Secondary School on Sunday January 17th.
This follows an overwhelmingly successful Open Session of Conference and celebration of the Party’s 65th anniversary which was held on Sunday December 6th at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort South on December 6th. 2015.
At the Closed Session Sunday, a number of positions on the executive will be decided.
The Party will also take the opportunity to place on record its thanks and appreciation to retiring Chairman Sir Julian R Hunte for the decades of unwavering loyalty, dedication, commitment to service and selfless efforts in the interests of the Saint Labour Party and our beloved country Saint Lucia.
Last Saturday January 9th, the Party held its first Chairpersons Caucus at its Headquarters in Castries in what can only be described as exceedingly informative and effective.
