Suspected cocaine in car allegedly owned by Cop

Suspected cocaine was found this morning in a vehicle allegedly owned by a Police Corporal, well informed sources have revealed.

According to reports, the suspected drugs were discovered when the Vieux Fort Drug Squad intercepted a minibus heading towards Castries on the Castries Vieux Fort highway at about 4:10 AM today, Monday, January 18, 2016.

It is reported that the vehicle was being driven by a man from New Development, Soufriere, and had two passengers on board – both males.

A search of the vehicle revealed fifteen blocks of what appeared to be cocaine.

This morning’s drug bust follows the seizure of seven blocks of suspected cocaine when Police raided a house at Mabouya Valley.

I guess the minibus owner’s defence would be that he had no knowledge of what his driver was transporting.

Anonymous you will be surprised. All the cop has to say is he didn’t know and case closed since last year. Dont be surprised the others caught might very well get off. Evidence lost, evidence stolen, Files missing, charges wrongly filed, alreday they have no lab and finally good old legal technicality
