Special Reserve Officer held for drugs

A Special Reserve Police Officer has been held on suspicion of attempting to export drugs, reliable sources have disclosed.

The officer and another man, both from Babonneau, are suspected of having attempted to move cocaine from Saint Lucia to the United Kingdom through the mail, the sources have told the Times.

The alleged incident took place on December 17, 2015.

Both men are reported to have been arrested on Friday, January 22, 2016 and were due to be charged.
