Missing woman’s death – more questions than answers

Family members of a missing woman who was found dead yesterday have told the Times that they have more questions than answers in relation to the death.

Relatives of the deceased have reported that the body of forty-two year old Syana Mathurin was found on a cliff at about 3:30 pm yesterday, January 27, 2016.

The mentally challenged resident of Delcer, Choiseul, was last seen on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at about 12:30 pm in the community.

One relative, Sandra Mathurin, told the Times that it was most unusual for her niece to leave her home where she lived with her boyfriend and two teenage sons, without telling anyone.

“She was very attached to her boys,”Mathurin said.

She also wanted to know how her niece ended up atop a cliff.

Mathurin disclosed that Police and a Medical Doctor had to climb the cliff to get to the decomposed body.

She told the Times that the family is awaiting the result of the post mortem examination in the hope that it would provide some answers.
