Doctor Gale Rigobert, the MP for Micoud North, met residents of her constituency last night to organize a “ koudmein” to fix the roads in the community.
According to Dr. Rigobert, notwithstanding her many exchanges with the authorities the roads have yet to receive the necessary attention.
Rigobert told the Times:
“I have sought the intervention of Government to address the roads in the constituency, but given the tardiness of the Government in heeding my request I now have no other option but to ask residents to join in a Koudmein to fill in the potholes. At least this will bring some temporary relief to residents.”
The Micoud North MP has scheduled several self help initiatives with the first being in Mon Repos on Saturday, February 6, 2016.
