Acting Police Chief, Errol Alexander, has expressed the opinion that the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF), is still demoralized as a result of the IMPACS case.
“We are human beings and we have feelings,” Alexander said last night during the MBC television programme – Police Insight.
The Acting Police Chief asserted that as long of the IMPACS matter remains unresolved it would create a certain level of anxiety and discomfort for the men and women of the RSLPF.
“To one particular point we are able to have a certain level of motivation, but the motivation is not at the level where we would be happy,” Alexander disclosed.
He expressed the opinion that even though the RSLPF performed well last year, the organization could have done better.
Alexander also said that the police must be able to justify their actions which will always be subject to review.
