Chrycee Heads to Hollywood

A featured contributor to the soon to be released book, Sheet Music: The Diary of A songwriter, St Lucian recording artiste and songwriter Chrycee heads to Los Angeles this week to be an official part of a Grammy Tribute Event and the launch of Sheet Music: The Diary of Songwriter at the Avalon Hollywood on Sunday February 14th, 2016.

Written by five-time Grammy Award winning songwriter, producer and music programmer, Devine Evans, Sheet Music: Diary of a Songwriter aims to shed light on the sexual injustices female artists can encounter while chasing their dream of a career in the music industry.

In an effort to empower these women, Sheet Music shares the stories of a variety of female artists’ personal experiences as well as general advice on how to cope with and safeguard themselves against such abuse and injustice.

St Lucia’s Chrycee is among these female artists who share their experiences and lends her voice to this cause to empower other ladies in music on how they can navigate through those sexual injustices and protect themselves.

A dominant figure in the music industry, Devine Evans, who has worked with music icons like Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Chris Brown—to name a few!—says his hope is that Sheet Music will empower any woman struggling within the music industry and let them know they are not alone.
