SAINT LUCIA (March 03, 2016) – The issuing of the casting call for runway models signals a shifting into high gear for the staging of Saint Lucia HOT Couture.
The fifth edition of the Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival’s Fashion stage is set for May 04. Cinnamon Productions, the partners selected to produce Saint Lucia HOT Couture 2016, have announced that the first three Saturdays in the month of March are dedicated to model selection and training.
As such, model casting takes place from March 05 to March 19th at the Blue Coral Conference Room from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Female aspirants must be at least 5’7” barefoot and of dress size 0 – 08, while male models must have a minimum height of 5’10”. Females who do not meet the height requirement but are able to deliver a clean, professional walk in minimum 4” heels will considered.
Participation in previous editions of Saint Lucia HOT Couture does not guarantee eligibility.
According to Cinnamon Productions CEO, Ms. Joycie Mederick, the current focus is to identify and prepare a cast to the standards of the international fashion industry and to the expectations and needs of the list of celebrated designers with whom discussions are in their final stages.
“This is with a view to formally unveiling, this month end, the plans, the designers and the innovations that we are working assiduously to introduce this year; and to ensure that the fashion component contributes that element of novelty, progress and growth that is to be expected with such a milestone as a 25th anniversary,” Ms. Mederick said, adding that a subsequent casting call be issued especially for full figured models.
Saint Lucia HOT Couture is gaining in acclaim as a premier event on the Caribbean’s annual fashion calendar.
