Rotaract Club of St. Lucia begins its World Rotaract Week Celebrations

The Rotaract Club of St. Lucia together with the Rotaract Club of Gros-Islet and Rotaract Clubs around the world celebrate World Rotaract Day on March 13 every year – 48 years of service through fellowship.

The Rotaract Club of St. Lucia was chartered on April 22nd 1985 under Charter President Kenneth Hilaire by the Rotary Club of St. Lucia. Over the years the Rotaract Club of St. Lucia has been a very active club, not only in Saint Lucia but across the Rotaract District 7030 which spans from the islands of Antigua down to Suriname. The club has meetings every Thursday at the Castries Central Library at 6:30pm.

Some of our notable projects include the donation of school bags and supplies to 40 children from Anse-La Raye and Canaries, building a new home for a Trough victim and hosting a Job Preparation forum. In recognition of World Rotaract Week from March 7 to 14, 2016 the club will host various activities to celebrate the 48th year milestone including a” Youth Leadership Seminar” and a panel discussion on the topic “Social and technological trends and their impact on the environment”

The Rotaract Club of St. Lucia would like to take this opportunity to thank all its sponsors, who over the years have continued to give their support, assistance and resources. Special thanks also our sponsoring Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of St. Lucia and Rotarians who have continued to give us support and guidance. We look forward to continue serving our community as part of this worldwide organisation Rotaract.
