An education Official has denied that a secret video, purportedly taken at the Dennery Primary school, was in fact taken at the institution.
The video, apparently shot with a mobile telephone camera, depicts a leaking roof in a classroom.
However a source who saw the footage told the Times that the classroom shown in the video has ceiling fans, which the Dennery Primary school does not.
The source also noted that the color scheme in the classroom does not match that of the Dennery Primary.
The video, which has been circulating in the social media, was brought to the attention of Chief Education Officer, Marcus Edwards who confirmed that there was a leakage problem at the institution.
The Chief Education Officer told the Times that the Ministry of Education was not in receipt of complaints from the Dennery Primary school in relation to significant leaks.
But he did indicate that the Ministry was aware of a leak in one of the classrooms of which the Ministry of Infrastructure has been informed.
He said the Ministry has inspected the building and that a long term solution to address the problem was under consideration.
