A new industrial row is brewing between the Management of St. Jude Hospital and the National Workers Union (NWU).
The industrial controversy is centred around the dismissal of an employee.
A current industrial agreement between the St. Jude Hospital and the National Workers Union makes provisions for handling disciplinary matters.
The NWU says the absence of due process and the failure of the Hospital Management to adhere to one’s right to natural justice, are infringements of the industrial protocol agreed to between the Hospital and the NWU.
The NWU has termed the hospital’s decision as unjustified termination of unemployment.
The NWU has submitted a thirty (30) day notice of protest action on behalf of the worker employed with St. Jude Hospital.
