Adventist Youth plan anti-suicide march

An anti-suicide march is being planned by the Maranatha District Association of Adventist Youth.

The march will be part of the Adventist Youth Global Youth Day activities.

Organizers have said that the initiative has several objectives:

  1. To reach out to individuals in the community who are losing hope by bringing them back to the realization that in spite of life’s challenges, with Christ we can be overcomers.
  2. To offer alternative means of managing stress and depression
  3. To encourage families to be strong in the face of adversity.

The “Hope in Crisis” march, slated for 23rd April, 2016, will commence at Serenity Park at 3:00pm, and culminate with a grand open air event at the La Clery Square, according to the organizers.

They have disclosed that during the march, messages of hope will be shared with the community.
