BOSL Employee stands up to armed bandits

A female employee of the Bank of Saint Lucia (BOSL) who stood up to armed bandits yesterday, has lived to tell the tale.

Well informed sources told the Times that the women left the bank at about 4:30 PM yesterday and was held at gun point by two men  as she was about to enter her vehicle.

According to information, the men tried to force the woman to enter the vehicle, evidently to shift the scene of the crime.

However it is reported that the BOSL employee stood her ground.

“I am not going anywhere, so you can kill me here,” the courageous female is reported to have declared.

Apparently taken aback by her boldness, the men grabbed her bag, laptop computer and other possessions and escaped.

A report has since been made to the police.

Sources have told the Times that the victim is still shaken by the experience.

The times have made men desperate. Like everyday some part of my island is plagued by heinous acts. I can only thank God that all the woman lost was her miniscule valuables and not her life or worse. I pray you recover my Lady God’s speed just gotta keep the Faith.

Good thing you take a stance my lady otherwise the vagabonds will have driven you to a secluded area then rape you and kill you.
Remember that when faced with criminals it is better to die trying to save your life than to die whilst complying with the criminals.Putting up a fight and creating a commotion may deter the criminals and leave enough evidence for the police or public to apprehend the culprits.

What? Feel better Lady soon and God be with you.
Now where is our security Minister in all of this? What has he done to stop the speedy growth of crime on island? Enough is enough!!! Mr Minister, you are responsible for ensuring our nation is safe. That’s your job! that’s why your salary is paid from taxes collected from the hard working people of St. Lucia. Mr. Minister please let us know what you’ve done or what your plans are to rid our society of these criminals. Please note: you’ve held the post of Security Minister for almost 4 1/2 years. Is there anything you will do over the next 6 months. Please advise Mr. Minister. Awaiting your speedy response. Thanks.

Hey idiot, I normally would not reply to ridiculous comments, but I had to on this one, then whose fault is it mine, who is responsible for the security of the country. If someone is paid to do a job, then their need to do it (earn your salary). Politicians are happy to get the praise for a low crime rate, but in the same way conveniently distance themselves when the rate increases. This goes for both SLP and UWP, just in case you think I am choosing sides. So what should the citizens do move to Iceland or Finland. Just by your comment you must be a SLAP fan, and not the what the name of the other one United waste party. Both a collective of brilliantly laughable brainless individuals .

It’s foolish comments like these that emboldens these criminals. A man takes a gun and go and commit crime and you blaming the minister. Give the information to the police if you have it and stop writing shit.
