Murder accused captured

Murder accused, Cletus Mitchell, has been captured by the Police.

Mitchell has been on the run since the first week in March, after he was named as the prime suspect in the shooting death of his older brother, Sebastien Mitchell.

The forty-two year old sustained a single gunshot wound to the left shoulder at La Croix Maingot.

The incident happened on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at about 12:35 a.m.

According to reports, the deceased was in an altercation with his brother – Cletus when he was shot.

The murder suspect, whom police had said should be considered armed and dangerous, was arrested at La Ressource, Vieux Fort shortly after noon today.

He is reported to have been at a bar.

The Times was reliably informed that the murder accused put up no resistance.

It is reported that Cletus Mitchell will be transported shortly to Castries to be formally charged with causing the death of his brother.
