Guyanese teen accepted into 21 colleges in US – including all 8 Ivy league Schools

NEW YORK, United States, Wednesday April 28, 2016 – A Guyanese teen is being hailed as extraordinary, after gaining admission to all eight Ivy league schools in the United States.

Kelly Hyles, who moved to the United States in 2009 at the age of 11, has received 21 acceptance letters, including from Harvard, Yale, Brown, Princeton, Columbia, Dartmouth, Cornell and the University of Pennsylvania.

Hyles says she’s leaning towards Harvard, but she’s yet to make final decision. She wants to become a neurosurgeon.

As a news site I would think St Lucia Times would appreciate the concept of attribution. Many times non-local stories are posted here with little to no source info for where the stories originated. This is not right. I consider here to be a superior source of news to St Lucia News Online but at least they almost always attributed properly.

And while I’m at it, can you please, please proofread your local stories – the typos are horrible and at least one is present in almost all of your original posts.

I hope these two points are taken as what they are meant to be – constructive criticism. I like and visit here every day. Thank you for listening.
