New CSA President says she has no agenda

The newly elected President of the Saint Lucia Civil Service Association (CSA), Yvonne Edwin, has asserted that she has no agenda.

Edwin has promised to work with her new executive in the interest of all members of the trade union, regardless of their political affiliation.

“There is nothing I will do to cause my members to be disadvantaged, as I will always ensure they are satisfied no matter what color or party they support,” she said.

“This is not about Yvonne Edwin. Yvonne Edwin is only the President,” the CSA President declared.

She explained that once she and her executive put the interests of members at the forefront, they cannot go wrong.

According to Edwin, the first order of business is to understand what has happened to the CSA.

The union has been wracked by deep divisions.

She said an update on the union’s finances, grievances and collective agreements will be scrutinized.

Edwin disclosed that she will wait until an assessment is fully done and make a determination on the way forward based on what the executive members want.

“I want to assure members that whatever is found or reviewed, you will determine the best way forward, “she said.

Edwin declared that she is eager to work and will allow nothing to deter her.

And Mary Isaac was a “Yellow Party” hack, so much so, she is ‘running’ on a ‘Yellow Ticket.” And didn’t mind the country sink and half of the Civil Service fired or sent home (out of political ambitions and spite,) because we would have been in the clutches of the IMF.
This is how much Mary Isaac and the UWP “Love” you.

Mind what you “Maggots” wish for, because you may just get it. And then you shall see how foolish, retarded and ill-informed you all have been.

When Kenny came from Guyana to accept the leadership of the Labour Party prior to the 1997 elections and Henry Charles convened a General Council Meeting at 6pm to allow Kenny to address our second highest decision making body, wasn’t that clear political involvement in our Union back then. Charles was rewarded with a job at the National Conservation Authority when the slp eventually come to power.

There are too many treacherous people in this foolish country of ours.

On another note, how can we truely call ourselves a civilised country and allow Wyclef Jean back into this country after this man disrespected the highest officer in our country when he leaped-frog over our then PM (Hon. Stephonson King) a few years ago at a main stagged Jazz performance at Pigeon Point a few years ago?

Subsequently and to add insult to injury, Earnest Hilaire appeared on Timothy Poleon’s Hot Button TV Talkshow gloating about what this Haitian Artist had done to our then PM.

If Hilaire was really a patriot, he should have rebucked and condemed what Jean had done to our PM back then. Something he had never done to any other world leader where he had performed almost world wide.

What’s wrong with my people, Lord – what’s wrong with them?

They too, didn’t see the need to have thrown Jean to hell out of our country right there and then at Piegon Point.

What were some of their remarks: why King had to bend, King is this and that. Rather than focus on why was it that this stranger chose to disrespect the highest office in our country?

Not too long ago, jean performed at the signing ceremony for the Citizen by Investment Programme in Monoco. I praye that it wasn’t our tax funds that paid for his performance.

Our senior folks have an adage that state thus: “coplow fo pas si sebe”; this is so true.

What levels will we not stoop to in our quest to gain what we want.

Oh God, who died and left that for us.

Wyclef Jean must be banned from our country for life.

But Patriot, Wyclef leap-frogged over Hon. Stephenson King with the full consent of the PM. King was a willing and conscious participant who chose to bend over backwards for Wyclef. The PM may have disrespected himself and brought the position of PM into disrepute for the sake of entertainment and tourism.

Even more so why did the the PM, the rest of the party or even Patriot called for his immediate deportation and ban from St Lucia? Why are you only bringing this up now Patriot? I would like to know your reason. Are you now telling me you blaming the present government for Wyclef being free to come and go as he pleases? If so I need to make time to laugh at that!

I expected nothing better than these type of comments from a country where the current PM while in opposition said that he would have written to investors urging them not to come and do business in this country and today this man is PM.

Had it been someone else who had made such an affront statement, I can imagine what would have been said by these very same persons in a country that’s going no where headed by KDA – the evil that we do…!

Do they know that there are places in the world, where such a statement would have been viewed as treason?

What a country! What a set of people.

Lord, please, please help us for we know not what we have done to have KDA as head of our beloved country.
