Francisco Jn Pierre: Jadia doing her work

Francisco Jn Pierre: Jadia doing her work

Francisco Jn Pierre, the opposition endorsed candidate for Laborie, has responded to comments made by his daughter about his candidacy.

The daughter, Jadia Jn Pierre Emmanuel, is currently the Communications Director of the ruling Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP).

She said among other things at a recent political rally of the SLP:

“For my sake, ensure that Francisco Jn Pierre loses his deposit.”

However her father told the Times that there is need to understand that Jadia was politically hired and is doing the work of her employer.

“I will not go into a war of words with Jadia over any comments she has made,” Francisco Jn Pierre said.

He noted that Saint Lucia is currently in the political season.

“If you have persons with different political ideologies whether it be daughter or father, everybody is entitled to their political belief,” Jn Pierre observed.

The daughter’s comments have drawn a response from former government Press Secretary, Darnley Lebourne.

Lebourne cautioned Jn Pierre Emmanuel to be very careful.

Echoing the adage that blood is thicker than water, the former Press Secretary noted that life is interesting in terms of things that may occur in the future.

“Mishaps, whatever that may occur and what we have to fall back on almost all the time is family and I have been through that personally,” he told Radio Caribbean International’s Newsspin programme with host – Timothy Poleon.

Lebourne said:

“When you find yourself cornered – medical, accident etc, it is your family you have to turn to in order to console you.”

He observed that Francisco Jn Pierre has been quizzed before in relation to his daughter.

In Lebourne’s opinion, the father responded in the right way by saying that Jadia is an adult and has the right to choose which political party she supports.

The former government Press Secretary asserted that no one is questioning the daughter’s loyalty.

But he expressed the view that she should stay away from delving into the realm of family, since they are the ones who have to support someone when an unfortunate situation occurs.

Jadia want’s to disown her father because of Labour? What kind of attitude is this? Girl this is your father, never bring your father to a political platform again , never do this girl. At the end of the day he is still your father. Money makes you all do alot of . Have some level of respect for your father, do not allow politics to distroy your relationship with your family.

I hope Francisco’s response to Jadia’s rants on de political platform teaches her that she has a father who cares for her no matter what she may think of him and politics is no place to vent your frustrations of a family member.

You all will learn not to get involved in family matters. Francisco and Jadia love each other. They know each other better than us. Jadia is not crazy and Francisco knows too well. So stay out of it.

Respect to Jadia’s dad for his mature comment.
Jadia should take a page from Claudius Francis book when it comes to his brothers in politics. Keep family out of dirty politics. I thought Claudius was her mentor.

The Jn Pierre family will be the winner regardless of which political party wins the Elections as the family (father and daughter) has one foot in each party.

I love this man’s attitude towards his daughter. Take the moral high ground. The politicians who encourage her do not know how to treat parents. One in particular treated his mother badly to say the least. So I can understand why he will stand by and say nothing to her about her despicable behavior.

Sir, I am registered to vote in your constituency but intended to say away from the polls. I have changed my mind though. Your humility and maturity has earned you my support and I hope many others too. Good luck!

Jadia doesn’t care. She has no morals or ethics. She is part of a power hungry cabal that has total disdain for anybody but themselves. Her motives are always purely selfish. She is NOT a superior being and her opinion is not the bible. Her tone is always condescending and patronizing. She is without any true substance and is but a mascot for an oppressive regime. Her voice is that of a siren to crash the unwary on the rocks. She has as many faces as Medusa.

The adage: “when the fish starts to spoil, it starts from the head” is very true.

So, why should we be surprised at Jadia’s behaviour towards her father.

Any wonder why the PM’s mother was hesitant and had to be pleaded with to attend his inauguration at Government House when KDA first became PM in 1997?

Now comes Jadia, who is looking to become Saint Lucia’s High Commissioner in London, disrespecting her father for 30 pieces of silver.

The Bible admonishes all of us, irrespective of status, to honour our mothers and fathers.
