Mayers: IMPACS may have forced elections!

Former National Security Minister, Guy Mayers, has asserted that the fallout from the IMPACS matter could have forced snap elections in Saint Lucia.

“We are upset that the Saint Lucia Labour Party started this thing and caused it and they have been asked to deal with it and I think that is one of the reasons why the Prime Minister called snap elections,” Mayers told reporters.

The former Minister that said Prime Minister, Doctor Kenny Anthony, knew that come the end of May  this year, he would have had to deal with the Americans and the Europeans.

Mayers explained:

“Don’t forget they have been here – what three times since they first summoned him to a meeting in January or February? They came back again, he made promises to them; they came back in April and he  made promises again and they were supposed to be back again and he was supposed to  report on the promises he made.”

The former Minister declared that nothing has happened since.

He declared that a Director of Public Prosecutions is not in place.

Mayers also said that then Police Commissioner, Vernon Francois, was forced out of his job.

“The whole police force is demoralized so he (the PM) decided to take the easy way out and call elections and look at the mess that has been created,” he said.

He accused Prime Minister Doctor Kenny Anthony of having handled the IMPACS situation in a very irresponsible way, resulting in serious problems for this country.

Mayers noted that the way the matter has been handled has denied training opportunities and supplies that Saint Lucia badly needs.

The United States ceased all forms of assistance to the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF), after the twelve fatal shootings by officers between 2010 and 2011 that prompted the IMPACS investigation.

Mayers recalled that the opposition United Workers Party (UWP), has said that within the first one hundred days of taking office it  will put mechanisms in place to  review the IMPACS situation and bring a resolution to it.

GUY MAYERS, YOU DISGUST ME. AND YOU AS A FORMER MINSTER OF JUSTICE IS DISGRACEFUL!

Guy Mayers, you were the Minister of Justice who ordered “Operation Restore Confidence” to kill those young men.
You caused the violation of their Rights and thus having the US to put sanctions on the RSLPF, which then initiated an investigation “Impacs.”

Why are you so desperately removing yourself from this whole mess?
Why up to this day, you have REFUSED to MAN-UP and apologize to the VICTIMS or CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY.

Guy Mayers, WE WERE ALL HERE, WE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. And CANNOT BE FOOLED BY YOUR LIES.
And lying is SYNONYMOUS WITH THE UWP.

You would be more credible if you would at least to be truthful and APOLOGIZE.
But you keep on removing yourself.
But how could exist on itself, Mayers?
Wasn’t there a chain of events?

WE, THE SLP, WILL CLEAN-UP YOUR MESS AND DEAL WITH IT.
AND COME MONDAY NIGHT THE UWP WILL STILL BE INFERIOR AND SUBSERVIENT.

YOU ARE VERY A VERY DISGRACEFUL AND DECEITFUL INDIVIDUAL.

KEEP ON BELIEVING YOU CAN WIN AN ELECTION ON LIES.
    NOT HAPPENING AND WILL NEVER!

Why does’nt this Guy stop taking us for Idiots, every body knows that Impacts came about as a result of His Operation Restore Confidence and that if any blame has to be apportioned it has to go to Guy Mayers and his U,W.P Gang of Murderous Thugs. win or loose, some of them will have to pay for their stupidity.

This is really sad and all time-low for the the UWP (a Political Party, Sir John built)
This is the Political Party of today, that refuses to take responsibility for anything and believe, lying itself away of its own problems will mae things better for them.

But the US isn’t a bunch of Morons that the UWP believe they are (like the UWP inferior Supporters) to be insulting their intelligence.

And it is sad to see that in the coming years the LPM will be our next and most viable opposition. Because as far as we are concerned, the UWP isn’t worth the dust by the road-side.

And further more, Guy Joseph will be held accountable for the millions he ‘Took’ and hid into hos company’s accounts.
The US has been asked to investigate.

Its not the entire uwp that cause the Americans to come and investigate the police, Its the police fault killing people with out a fair trial. The police have been killing people in StLucia under both parties, so do not come and talk about (UWP) alone.

It has already happened,no if’s no buts, was it Kenny’s fault or u.w.p;it these not matter anymore. Who ever comes in to power has to deal with the matter accordingly. The police force has to take in to consideration that the killings were unjustified and take responsibility for their action. If we were the family IG the victims,we would want answers as well,so stop blaming government and pointing fingers;like hypocrites.
