UWP pays tribute to Ali

CASTRIES, Saint Lucia –Sunday, June 5, 2016 – Amidst the hastings of the final moments of campaigning for the critical June 6th General Elections, the United Workers Party pauses to mark the passing of a great man in the person of Muhammed Ali.

We note with sadness his passing. We share this moment of grief with the St Lucia Boxing Association and the local and international sporting fraternity.

Ali was a phenomenal human being and champion. His ideals went beyond sports as he concerned himself with matters of humanity beyond the boxing ring.

He was an outspoken advocate on behalf of the weak and marginalized. His flare and flamboyant character along with his phenomenal boxing skills earned him supreme dominance in the sport of boxing.

As we pause to reflect on the life of this great man at the cusp of General Elections, we are encouraged by the confidence and sporting conquest of Muhammed Ali.

The United Workers Party salutes the life and legacy of Muhammed Ali.

His supreme boxing skills and clinical knock-out punch serves to inspire us towards victory at the upcoming General Elections as we get ready to build a new St Lucia.

Jokers what? You fool. You do not even understand the inference. When things are being discussed that you do not understand, keep quiet.

Ahh, “Snow Frolic,” we know you love some “Ivory” in your coffee 🙂
But come Tuesday, your feathers will be ruffled a little bit more, when you shall still be the inferior and subservient one, once again:)
No Ivory, will head Fair-Helen. 🙂
