PM:Better transport links with Martinique

Prime Minister Allen Chastanet wants to improve transport links between this country and Martinique.

Chastanet told reporters shortly after being sworn in as Saint Lucia’s new Prime Minister, that he is not happy with the standard of the ferry service, in terms of the terminal here.

“It is going to be one of the first things that we are going to be addressing,” he disclosed.

The new Prime Minister revealed that he also intends to address the issue of air transportation between Saint Lucia and Martinique.

“The cost of flying between Martinique and Saint Lucia is prohibitive.” Chastanet observed, adding that there is currently only one flight daily.

He said he will be moving quickly to deal with the situation.

Martinique is a major player in St. Lucia tourism. The French are here spending major dollars at every event. In the last two years the amount of foreign exchange the Mercury Beach event has earned for the island is more than a drop in the bucket, so it is more that warranted that he is paying attention to it. That and he was born in Martinique.

Timothy News spin Poleon I hope u attend the rally. I am American by birth, have visited St. Lucia many times. I love that country thanks to my husband, that I listen to what is happening in his homeland. I heard you spinning telling a caller your PM did not say St. Lucians will not need VISAS to travel to America. Stop Spinning and stop lying. you and Rick Wayne have been spinning and lying about that issue just as you all PM. LIARNEL. And the lies and spinning continues.

Anyone sat and considered that quite a few of us St. Lucians go to Martinique for medical treatment as well as Barbados. With improved transportation the likelihood of their doctors coming over and ours going are improved..

Really? Then why didn’t he even made mention of it? It’s because this ferry service has nothing to do with medical treatment. But another business venture his Father (Micheal Chastanet) will be PROFITTING FROM.
Because they know DR. Kenny D Anthony would never allow his father to do this.

When this new ferry service comes to reality, the documents will prove to all who are the share-holders and owners.

The only people who will be benefiting from this new administration is Micheal Chastanet (Ferry Service to Martinique,) Butch Stewart (acquisition of properties with no tax clearance,) Jamaicans and Guyanese.
And there are more to come.

But I am soooooooooooooooo happy to see he has already began to show his Dragon’s teeth.
You FOOLISH LOWLY UWP SUPPORTERS really believe he would remove VAT?
When VAT is what is sustaining this country?
