Fatal accident in Blanchard

Police are investigating a fatal accident which occurred on Thursday, June 9, 2016 about 4:35 p.m. in Blanchard, Desruisseaux.

Pickup truck registration number PD 809 driven by Eldon Wilson of Anse-Ger, Micoud was travelling in a westerly direction when it ran- off the Blanchard main road hitting 62 year old, George Willie aka “Fwere George” of Blanchard, Desruisseaux.

As a result of the accident, Willie sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by a medical doctor.

This is the 7th fatal accident for 2016.

      What does politics have with any that?
      Like @chara said drivers need to be more observant. Especially when driving in areas where there are pedestrians walking all over the road.

    Insensitive much……. condolences to family of decease. Not sure I might have known him, name sound familiar. Drivers be very observant. I was taught that u drive for the driver infront of u and the one behind also the pedestrians u have not even seen approaching.
