Sarah speaks on omission from Cabinet

Castries Central MP, Sarah Flood-Beaubrun, has been responding to questions about her omission from the list of cabinet ministers who were sworn in yesterday.

The swearing in ceremony was held at the Phillip Marcellin grounds in Vieux Fort.

“You will have to ask the Prime Minister, because he is the one that allocates ministries,” Flood-Beaubrun told reporters about the omission.

She added that she trusts that there is something in the making.

Flood Beaubrun served as Minister of Health, Human Services, Family Affairs and Gender Relations and Minister of Home Affairs and Gender Relations during two consecutive terms of a former Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) government.

She campaigned with the then opposition United Workers Party (UWP) in the last elections, winning the Castries Central seat with 2104 votes to the 1728 of her SLP challenger, Stanley Felix.

Her omission from the cabinet has left many Saint Lucians wondering as to the reason why.

There are reasons for not naming her in the cabinet ministers ..just have to wait for the results of the reasons. That’s all.

It is so odd to see Sarah Flood got the Kick in groin at such an early stage. But remember she did speak ill of Allen (the Boy) during the UWP convention campaign.
But who knows, to save face, they may bring in the smoke screen and give her a full-time job-with benefits. Lol

During an interview Sarah was asked whether she would like to serve as the Minister of Health if she were successgful at the election and she clearly said that she would prefer.not to. Sarah is an intelligent woman and knows how to articulate so telling reporters to ask the PM etc…..
…………………….has opened the way for unnecessary speculation. Sarah you and Kenny Anthony share the same birthday. Please tell us you are not like him. I know you to be a devout christian and God fearing woman. Best.of.luck

We’ve all made fun of Guy Joseph, but we need to commend him on getting his degrees. He can be a role model and show people that it’s never too late to go back to school. Congrats Guy!

I’m sure that the PM has big plans for Sarah. Let’s hope it’s not another issue with JOB FOR THE BOYS. Also if we are coming together as a ppl to work as one and in the best interest of our country the current GOVT should keep Fletcher because he has been doing a great job. Taking this country to another level IT wise.

Is Fletcher UWP? did he not stand on a platform and speak against the in coming government. we do not need a mole . keep him with Kenny. He saw all what kenny and his cronies were doing and encouraged them. WE do not want him in our cabinet

Considering you’re a fat UWP female supporter with 6 children living in a one bedroom plywood house somewhere, who just happen to have an Alcatel Pixie 3(4) through donors, this will give us the general idea of your intelligence levels.

Two reasons: She will be in at the first reshuffle; She will be appointed Deputy Prime minister.!

I really thought she was going to get the Foreign Affairs ministry position. She is a lawyer by profession , so I feel that would be an ideal position for her. She has done with the Health ministry before so she should move on to other ministries cause she has the brains.
