NWU and G4S sign Industrial Agreement

The management of G4S Secure Solutions (St. Lucia) Ltd) and officials from the National Workers Union (NWU) met at the Department of Labour Friday June 17, 2016.

The parties affixed signatures to an industrial agreement negotiated between the company and the National Workers Union.

Security Guards employed with the company will benefit from upward revisions in salaries, a lump sum one- time payment, Overtime, payment for Public Holidays, Meal Allowance and Training.

The new package will run for a period of three (3) years, with both sides indicating willingness to see the implementation of provisions as enshrined in the industrial documents.  The signing was done in the presence of Labour Commissioner, Mr. Ray Narcisse.
