Prime Minister, Allen Chastanet, has called on everyone to be patient in relation to an appointment for Castries Central MP, Sarah Flood-Beaubrun.
“In due course everybody will learn as to what exactly Sarah’s role is going to be,” Chastanet told the Times during an exclusive interview.
The Prime Minister gave the assurance that the role has been discussed with the Castries Central MP.
“She clearly understands and appreciates where we are going and I want to thank her for her support,” Chastanet told the Times.
He said he looks forward to announcing her role with the government.
However Chastanet would not be drawn on whether the Castries Central MP will be given a ministerial post.
Flood-Beaubrun, herself a former minister in two successive Saint Lucia Labour Party administrations, was noticeably absent from a list of government ministers who were recently sworn in at a ceremony at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort.
