NWU and RBC complete Industrial Negotiations

The  Management of Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and officials from the National Workers Union (NWU) have completed industrial negotiations.

The bank employees will now benefit from an overall seven percent (7%) general wage increase, back pay effective from June 2015, Meal Allowance of $40.00, Laundry Allowance of $50.00 and Male Uniform Allowance of $1200.00.

The company has agreed to the urgent implementation of the wage schedule while arrangements are being made to pay out the retroactive pay shortly.  

This new industrial agreement will run for a period of three (3) years.  Meanwhile the NWU has begun negotiations with ten (10) other companies.
