Silas Wilson axed

Silas Wilson, the Executive Assistant to former Deputy Prime Minister, Philip J. Pierre, has been terminated.

Wilson’s last day on the job was yesterday, the Times has been reliably informed.

According to reports, Silas Wilson became the Executive Assistant to Pierre in 2012.

His last contract was for one year which would have ended in 2017, it is reported.

Yesterday the Times reported that the Press Secretary to then Prime Minister, Doctor Kenny Anthony, Jade Brown, and Anthony’s Attache, Calixte George Jr, had also been fired.

Their last day on the job was on Friday, June 17, 2016.

A reliable source told the Times that a number of other heads will roll as the new Allen Chastanet led government does some house cleaning.

Chastanet’s United Workers Party (UWP), won the June 6, 2016 general elections by a margin of 11 to 6, defeating the then governing Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP).

Unlike other media personalities who love to pretend that they are politically neutral, Shelton has declared which party he supports. He should get some credit for that.

Walter francois from soufriere foundation for $15500.00. You have to go. Plus he renew other contracts for the hacks at the foundation. My way of axing him is to make him give peopke toilet paper at the comfort centre.

Wow what a way to get rich fast (lump sum in termination of contracts ) .Boy I just wish I had such good luck sitting at home, relaxing on the beach, rocking on my lazy boy chair and sipping my rum and coke. Some people have all the luck while the government must find money to pay for replacements. Lol

Yes he was one of the political appointees, really unofficial ministers they all were, along with Professor Dr. Vaughan Lewis, Ausbert Regis and Calixte George Jr. Those men salaries had to equate to almost a ministers salary. Add in Christopher Hunte and Dr. Allison Plummer and see the amount of extras that were paid out. All political appointments at the pleasure of Dr. Anthony and the treasury of St. Lucia.

At the end of the day why have people who don’t support your plans and ideology working with you, they will only try to hinder your progress. As US when change President New Administration need people to help fulfill reason government won the election the people has spoken. With their wealth of experience they can create their own consulting firms, go further their education, volunteer, become professors etc etc etc. there always a way out experience goes a long way but it’s how you use it to your advantage.
