“Saint Lucia has an intense love for sports, particularly football. It is the sport that most young men play first, it’s almost instinctual. I am eager to see who will become the local champion team and I am also confident, that on July 2nd and 3rd, Saint Lucia will defend its title, fiercely, against the other 9 country teams.”

The Regional finals will take place next weekend on July 2nd and 3rd at The Ramp in Rodney Bay and will see 9 country teams try their best to dethrone reigning champions, Saint Lucia.

International Football player and Manchester United Legend, Dwight Yorke as well as International freestyler from Sweden Philip Gertsson are currently enlisted as Ambassadors for Guinness Street Football Challenge, which is now in its sixth year.

The winner of the Guinness Street Football Challenge will receive among other prizes, an all expenses paid trip to Brazil, the home of football to see a major game in Rio di Janeiro.
