The Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) has reported sixty-two weekend ambulance responses.

Thirty-four responses were recorded in the North, while the others were in the South of Saint Lucia.

According to the SLFS, emergency personnel had to transport one person who was stabbed in the neck at Cul de Sac to Victoria Hospital.

The male individual is reported to be in stable condition.

There were also four responses relating to vehicular accidents.

A total of four persons were reported injured in the accidents which occurred on Friday at Gros Islet involving a man who fell off a motorcycle, on Saturday involving a vehicle which spun out of control at Caye Manje, Gros Islet, on Saturday at Bexon involving a head on collision between two vehicles and on Sunday at Vide Bouteille, Castries where a vehicle ran off the road.

There were also two fire calls.

Damage from that fire was limited to the main switch in the building.

There were no reports of injuries in the two fires.

Meanwhile, average response times to fires elsewhere in the city that day only rose by one minute, to 5.5 minutes. The FDNY ideology of aggressive interior fire attack grew naturally out of the building and population density that characterize the city.
